Presto. Its pesto. And its amazing.
- 2 1/2 cups packed fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 3 tbsp walnuts
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Add basil, garlic cloves, salt, pepper, and olive oil to food processor and blend until well.
- Add parmesan and blend well again.
- Add walnuts and pulse until size of desired walnut pieces are achieved. Makes approximately 1 cup of pesto.
